ABOUT THE ROLE
Footballco is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join the central publishing team, working in a fast paced and dynamic team environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading all aspects of commercial partnerships across Footballco’s global third party publisher media network.
With over 500 global publishers, you’ll be working within the central account management team to generate and drive new revenue opportunities whilst managing the day to day relationships within the existing portfolio.
The role will lead on all aspects of publisher and rightsholder account management including, inventory and performance analysis, commercial reporting and managing the scheduling and distribution of video and editorial content packages to Footballco’s strategic global publisher partners.

The position is based in our London offices (Soho). We offer compensation and a bonus scene. You will report into one of our Account Managers within the Revenue Operations team.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Responsible for generating new revenue opportunities & growing the current portfolio of global publishers.
Manage and develop long-standing strategic publisher relationships to ensure the revenue operations team meet divisional and company growth goals.
Consult and support the Sales teams in pitching and communicating the commercial and content benefits our video & display monetisation solutions.
Analyse reporting across all publishing revenue streams, identify inventory performance trends and present to senior FootballCo stakeholders to measure against wider company KPIs.
Liaise with the Media Sales and Revenue Operations teams to ensure inventory is compliant with advertising industry standards at all times
Assist the account management team in serving as the primary link between internal stakeholders—including Ad Operations, Sales, Content and Production, and Product—by conveying publisher feedback, product developments, and content updates to the broader commercial team.
Oversee the Content Operations workflow to ensure content ingestion for third party rightsholders partners is optimised for delivery across Footballco’s platforms (FC Player, Social, O&O) and is monetized effectively and reported correctly
WHAT YOU HAVE:
1-2 years in a commercial facing role
Exceptional communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Positive, can-do attitude
An understanding of online advertising including video, mobile and Apps
Experience using advanced analytics tools (Google Ad Manager, Google Analytics, Datastudio)
Prior experience of working in a publisher account services role at either a publisher, SSP or Ad Tech vendor is preferred but not essential.
Proficient in Excel/ Google Sheets & Powerpoint
Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and workload in a fast paced environment
Proven ability to work independently and to tight deadlines
A knowledge/ interest in sport is advantageous although not essential
Experience of dealing with colleagues and clients at all levels, including Senior Management
