ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced content lead to join its Strategy department, which has an exciting new opportunity to work across F1 for one of their leading clients. This role will range from social-first content ideation, working with talent in the community, proactively thinking of ways to activate exclusive access and on-the-ground content capture at shoots and races.

You will be an expert across all key social platforms and oversee the full lifecycle of content, through from ideation to delivery. Over 4 years’ experience in a similar role is desirable, particularly branded content. An in-depth knowledge and passion for F1 is a must.

This position is based in our London offices (Soho) where you will be expected to come into the office regularly as part of our hybrid working model. You will report into the Head of Branded Content. Start date is ASAP. The role is initially a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extending for another 12 months beyond that.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Lead content ideation and planning for one of our leading clients

  • Conceive and execute ambitious social media ideas that will excite clients’ and rights holders

  • Shoot and edit phone-captured social content

  • Come up with shareable social content that cuts through a crowded marketplace

  • Have your finger on the pulse when it comes to social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X & Facebook) and think of innovative ways to use them

  • Have an in-depth understanding of influencers across various markets

  • Think outside of the box and be proactive in seeking out content opportunities

  • Be passionate about your ideas and confidently communicate your creative vision to the wider team and client

  • Work closely with strategy and client services team and be comfortable leading in client-facing scenarios

  • Work closely with design to bring your ideas to life

  • Work closely with our Social Media Manager to plan and execute content plans

  • Ensure ideas can happen relative to budgets, timing, and capabilities

WHAT YOU HAVE

  • Strong experience (4+ years ideally) working in the sports industry, preferably in a similar role

  • Proficiency across Adobe Suite (Photoshop & Premiere)

  • A passion for big thinking and an eye for craft across a number of creative channels

  • An understanding of F1 and the subculture surrounding it

  • Experience working at pace and answering briefs with a fast turnaround

  • An interest in and deep knowledge of the social platforms, including experience producing work for a variety of social networks

  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and an ability to inspire internal and external stakeholders with your storytelling and ideas

  • A can-do attitude and the willingness to help shape the strategic culture within the agency

  • Spanish speaking (a bonus, not essential)
