ABOUT THE ROLE
Footballco is looking for a talented Content Creative Lead to join their expanding creative department. As a creative they will have a portfolio/reel/other and a mind full of exciting social and branded content ideas that can live across our platforms – Kooora, Goal, Yalla Goal, Yalla Girl, INDIVISA. They will be responsible for coming up with innovative ideas, shareable social content, big pitch winning campaigns, as well as shaping and executing content strategies that captivate our audience and meet the needs of our clients.
They will be confident when it comes to all aspects of the creative process and seeing a campaign through, from ideation to execution, presentation and production.
1 to 3 years experience in the creative industry is a must, with experience at a digital publisher a plus. An in-depth understanding of the beautiful game is preferred, however not essential. Football transcends all aspects of popular culture and so should their thinking.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Conceive and execute ambitious branded content campaigns that will delight our clients
Come up with shareable social content that cuts through a crowded marketplace
Ensure all pitched content and media is tailored to the preferences of the brand without losing sight of what fans engage with in whichever MENA markets are relevant to briefs
Oversee the distribution of content across digital platforms (social, web and app), tailoring publishing to ensure maximum reach and engagement
Leverage KOORA, GOAL and INDIVISA channels and successful internal content formats to enhance content visibility and drive audience interaction
Think outside of the box and be proactive and reactive creatives
Stay updated on industry trends and audience preferences to continuously refine content strategies, including staying up-to-date on the football ecosystem
Work closely with clients to understand their objectives, interrogating briefs to create compelling proposals that support Footballco’s business objectives
Work closely with the production and delivery teams on a daily basis
Work closely with strategy and client services team and be client-facing
Ensure ideas can happen relative to budgets, timing, and capabilities.

WHAT YOU HAVE
A stand-out creative portfolio or similar full of diverse thinking, award-winning work and eye-catching campaigns
Extensive experience working in a creative and content role within the digital publishing or related space, working on commercial projects
A passion for big thinking and an eye for craft across a number of creative channels
Proven ability to develop branded and sponsored content, particularly video, for digital platforms. Your work experience does not need to be in football, but knowledge of the game and the way fans in MENA engage with football content on digital platforms is essential.
An interest in and deep knowledge of the digital publishing and social platforms
Excellent communication/presentation skills and an ability to inspire internal and external stakeholders with your storytelling and ideas
A can-do attitude and the willingness to help shape the creative culture within the company
Can create strong presentations from client briefs. Top candidates will be asked to create a very short and concise presentation based on a fictitious brief to test this skill.
Demonstrable experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
